Jemma Coulson

I have spent the last 3 years studying for my FdSc Veterinary Nursing at Myerscough College whilst completing placements at Moorview Referrals, before joining as permanent staff. I successfully became a Qualified Veterinary Nurse in July 2021.

My love for animals started at a young age and although I wanted to become an architect throughout my time at school, my own dog’s health issues and volunteering at a veterinary practice sparked my interest into the field. 

Although I enjoy working in all aspects of the veterinary practice, looking after inpatients in the kennels is my favourite part, allowing me to show my passion for caring for animals.

Other than animals, my interests lie in going for walks, travelling the country and being in North Tyneside Steel Band where I have had many opportunities performing all over the UK as well as travelling to Rotterdam in 2019 for their carnival.
