Alison qualified from Glasgow University in 1995 and has mostly worked in private small animal practice since, after initially starting in general mixed practice. After a year off travelling the world she finally settled in Whitley Bay with her husband and two young boys and joined us at Moorview in 2010.
Alison likes all aspects of small animal work but her main interests are in surgery, CT and MRI imaging. She has a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice with her emphasis on Soft Tissue Surgery.
Alison and her family have rescued Pebble, the lurcher from the SHAK charity, and a cat called Eddie.
