Cláudia graduated in 2015 at the Vasco da Gama University School in Coimbra, Portugal. Prior to moving to the UK in the Summer of 2018, she worked at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Vila Real in Portugal for two years. Following a rotating internship in Gloucestershire, she moved to Hampshire to work as a general practitioner at the PDSA. Finally, in April of 2021, she decided heading North to start working with us as an ECC veterinary surgeon.
Cláudia has a keen interest in Emergency and Critical Care as well in Internal Medicine and she is currently studying towards the GP certificate in Small Animal Medicine. In her spare time, she likes to read, write and go stargazing. Back home in Portugal, she has a best friend, a feisty black cat called Frida who likes to take long naps in the sun.
