Spotlight on Cardiology

A Memorable Case

While there are so many, one that came to Antonio's mind was Willow, the Cocker Spaniel who presented with signs of congestive heart failure due to a very dilated and poorly contractile heart at the age of 6. After stabilisation and initial lifesaving treatment, we found she was taurine responsive so a nutritional supplement reversed most of her cardiac abnormalities.

About Our Service

Our experienced cardiology team can handle referral cases in the following areas:

  • Congenital Heart Disease
  • Pericardial Effusions
  • Murmurs (significant and localised)
