Tom graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017, then moved to the north-east. His first years in practice were spent between a hospital in Gateshead and practices in Backworth and Monkseaton.

In this time he developed an interest in Emergency and Critical Care, and joined Moorview referrals in 2022.

He completed his Post-graduate certificate in Emergency and critical care in 2023, and gained advanced practitioner status in 2024.

Alongside his clinical interests Tom enjoys teaching, and provides CPD and training for both students and qualified professionals.

Outside of work Tom primarily exists to obey the whims of his cat, Cleocatra.
