Emily started as a student veterinary nurse with ourselves in 2019 during her BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing degree at Harper Adams University. During this period she carried out research on brachycephalic regulations for improvement of welfare via breeding standards for her dissertation. She qualified in 2022 as a Registered Veterinary Nurse and has strong interests in medicine, emergency critical care and oncology.
She is local to the area, but studied in Shropshire and previously lived in Japan as an English Teacher prior to attending university. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and learning languages.
Emily does not currently have any pets but did have a chocolate Labrador called Evie, who unfortunately lost her battle to cancer at 14 years old. Evie’s battle has fuelled Emily’s interest in cancer patient care and research.
