Dr Sergejs Markuls

Sergejs a.k.a CJ graduated from the Latvian University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. From 2009 to 2016 he worked in one of the busiest charity hospitals in the UK. That gave him an opportunity to gain excellent surgical experience and to study for the GP certificate in Small Animal Surgery which he completed in November 2015 followed by Advanced Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in August 2017. In addition, he also gained experience as a Clinical Director in a small animal 

hospital, but his desire for further knowledge and experience inspired him to continue his further studies in orthopaedic field. As a result, he joined an independent referral centre where he remained for the next 5.5years. This year he completed and successfully passed the examination for General Practitioner Advanced Certificate in Small Animal Orthopaedic Surgery. Sergejs joined Moorview Referrals in November 2022. In his spare time he loves exploring outdoors, avid snowboarder and just embarked on the journey to become a trail runner.
