Dr Antonio Moneva-Jordan

Antonio graduated from Zaragoza University (Spain) following an Erasmus scholarship at Glasgow Veterinary School. He worked in a Small Animal Hospital in Newcastle for 5 years where he obtained the Certificate in Veterinary Cardiology with the best marks award in 1996. Antonio moved to the University of Edinburgh to undertake a residency in Cardiopulmonary Medicine, followed by an appointment as Clinical Demonstrator/ Lecturer in Cardiology. He continued to see cardiology referrals at Calder Vets, Moorview Referrals and Paragon Referrals. Antonio has been a regular speaker in Cardiology (mostly for Improve International and CEVA) including CPD courses, roadshows and webinars. He has written a number of publications on clinical cardiology over the years. Antonio is on the Heart Score Panel for Auscultation of the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society and is recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons as an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Cardiology.
